Never been one to post this sort of thing, but desperate times… My sister who's an Aggie class of '06, has been battling cancer for about a year. She's been in and out of the hospital the past month and a half, and hasn't really had much quality of life for the past 3 months. Last night, they basically told her there's nothing else they can do. We're not confident in the doctors as they've said everything was going okay leading up to this as we've all watched her condition deteriorate and the cancer spread. Last ditched effort is to take her to MD Anderson. Anyways, please pray for her and our family. She's got 3 young boys at home.

Heartbreaking. Praying that God will make His presence known to your sister and family in this difficult time. Just throwing this out there - fenbendazole (dog wormer) may be worth looking into. I know, crazy, but I heard an interview with a guy named Joe Tippens not long ago who swears it cured him after being told he had months to live. Here's a link with more information.

Thank you for the kind words. I'll have to ask if she's tried that. I know she's tried a ton of off label stuff and supplements.

Thanks again for the prayers/support. She went to MD Anderson yesterday, didn't have an appointment, so went to the ER. They did admit her, but only to manage her pain and get her platelet count back up. There's a chance she won't be seen, and they will discharge her once she's stable. We're super hopeful there is a clinical trial she can get into, but obviously she needs a doctor to see her and determine if she's eligible. If not, we will just have to see what they can do back at the local hospital to keep her going until her MD Anderson appointment in March.

She did! Finally got admitted last night, and she was supposed to see multiple doctors over the next few days. I haven't heard much else today, but will keep yall updated. I have no doubt the power prayer has been having. So many things had to go right over the course of this week for her to be in this position, and they have. It's been such a relief and blessing from where we were just last weekend. Thanks again all!
