ETA - confirmed his church in Pasadena, TX (Providence Baptist) ascribes to the 1689 London Baptist Confession. Usually easy to tell.

I know a lot of people, myself included, who are not Reformed. And speak the same.

You can be a Christian without being Reformed.

Same here. It is just something I have noticed about Reformed folks. What is implied is you can tell they are Reformed because they are "real" Christians.

Very common attitude in my experience. Off putting to say the least.

Why can't they just say they can tell they are Christians? It is like a private club. Almost seems more important to be Reformed than a Christian.

I repeat, there are more Christians that are not Refomed than are Reformed. By a very large margin.

Perhaps you're reading too much into what he wrote than what he intended. I am by no means Reformed, but I did not get the sense from his post that he believed that only Reformed are real Christians. Rather, I got the sense that he detected certain buzz words in the astronaut's comments that indicated he was probably Reformed.

Yeah it was intended to be playful. Doc should know that. If he went to Doc's church or Zobel's church or whomever's legitimate church I'd still be just as pumped about his testimony of going through that trial.
