I highly encourage people to get a few chickens as their source of fresh eggs or find a local source to purchase locally produced fresh eggs. The feedback we get from others on our eggs is very positive. The yolks are a richer yellow color and do not have an "eggy" flavor, but more rich. Chickens are easy to care for and the kids enjoy them. We also like that it gets us off the couch and outside more.

But most importantly, if you're going to pay $4.00 per dozen at Wal-Mart, at least find a friend with chickens and buy from them. You'll be amazed how much better they are.

Egg lobby would find a way to get Biden to sign an EO to ban chicken ownership.

Yolk color is linked to diet of the hen and can be easily manupulated. Has nothing to do with quality of the egg.

He's literally just making **** up.
$6.50 for 18 here in TN. We get our eggs from our chickens, so I had to go look up the price.

The eggs from our chickens have dark orangish yolks, figure it's from all of the WEF crickets and roaches they eat.

City zoning laws usually go far in squashing chicken ownership. Where I live the coop cannot be within 200 feet of the neighbors property.

Implementation of the law began on 1 January 2022. That means all eggs produced in California must be procured only from hens in cage-free housing.

Eggs from caged birds, can be shipped to CA from other states.. This drives up the price for everyone.
