If you didn't grow up poor, I believe it would genuinely be difficult to understand how much more difficult it is to get on first base than it is to run the bases when your teammates start moving you forward. Well we did lose a few along the way. A couple of the larger trucks got bogged down in the mud and we had to shove something under the tires so they just wouldn't spin in deeper.
