It's still hard to believe she blew this question so badly. I don't know if it was the shocked expressions on the hosts face or something else putting up a warning light in her pea brain, but you can see in Kamala's facial expression that she didn't know whether to stay loyal or to throw Joe under the bus. She didn't see the middle ground answer, so she went the loyal route and threw in some nonsense about being a part of most of the decisions in the Biden administration to try and make it appear she had more authority than she really did.

Her greatest flaw, in terms of being a presidential candidate, is that she can't think quick on her feet. This was a softball question designed to look tough. You literally ran on change (from your own admin by the way) but you say you can't think of one thing you'd do different and then you clumsily add you've been a part of the decisions with impact.

This is excellent analysis by Carville. It's the calmest and least unhinged I've heard him during the entire election cycle. When he's not a stark raving lunatic, he can have some great insight into campaigns. I hope the progressives ignore his advice.

Agree. Analyst like Carville worry me more than the commentators on The View or most of the legacy media. He's a political animal of over four decades and understands the terrain better than most. His triangulation strategy with Clinton was brilliant. He knows how to get to the crux of election analysis and why people vote the way they do. When the Democrats listen to people like him, they start to win. I pray he is relegated to a voice in the wilderness of the increasingly progressive left Democrat Party.
