I remember way back when, starting a thread about whether using Mace or Bear Spray was the "use of lethal force" when applied to Jan 6ers but not the Capitol Police. That made no sense to me. Isn't it reasonable for us to say that this large, sweeping pardon for all J6rs is a little bit concerning since there are some of these guys who actually were violent?
I'm fully aware that 99% of these people should never have been jailed, but did Trump's pardons include the actual guys who were involved in violence? Forgive me if this has already been discussed.

How many of the "protesters that committed violence" were coerced confessions or tainted prosecutions? While there were attacks on police, those protesters have been punished with jail and loss of jobs, lawyer fees etc. yes it's a pardon and yes those people will not have that assault or whatever charge on their record. Maybe that's not right I don't know. But plenty of everyday violent felons haven't seen a scintilla of the punishment that even those that assaulted police on j6 have.

Guy climbing up the side of huge wall to the terrace. Yes he shouldn't have been there. Cop could have just grabbed him, pulled him over the railing and arrested him. But what did that officer do?
Pushed him off, to fall straight down over thirty feet on his back. That cop was surrounded by other cops. One guy could have been taken down, hands zip tied behind his back, ankles tied together and placed aside.
There was a reason there were several cop suicides among those there in the weeks that followed. They knew what they did was wrong.
Every fatality and 99% of the injuries* that day were to people at the Capitol and not cops.
*Not to say the cops suffered no injuries, just that many of those were self-inflicted. They could not tell the direction of the wind and that shooting tear gas canisters would blow right back at them. Also set off tear gas canisters by accident within their own positions. Truly Keystone Cops crap.
How many of the 1500 had prior convictions for violent acts?

As fearless and relentless as I was in researching and tracking down crap in the Mueller thread and the 2020 Election Day threads, Jan 6th prosecutions scared me from posting as much as I should have on how screwed up those prosecutions were.
I was afraid of being banned or putting TexAgs under a lot of pressure by emphasizing what was happening. I followed a lot of them but just didn't post about them often. Or often enough to provide more clarity on how much these were political prosecutions.
It kind of sounds silly in hindsight but my very frequent posts about the major issues with the 2020 elections made me a target, had I been remotely in the area of DC, as in states away from there, on that day.
As it was, sooo many people here freaked the hell out about the unarmed "insurrection", I let it go because I was afraid of retaliation.
Four years older. Near the jumping off point (means dying not suicide) and if the FBI wants to arrest me?

Actually it wasn't a house. You should be ok with shooting a trespasser who climbs through a broken window at a store too. Also trespassing is trespassing. Shooting the kid that break into a garage to steal beer like the guy in Michigan should be ok too.

There are people in jail for shooting trespassers. Hell I think someone was just arrested a few months ago for popping an illegal alien that was trespassing. Not sure what happened with that but hopefully he is released.
