Fantastic Trump. This was a Dem Reighstag Fire event and many citizens, even those who assaulted police, got way more than they deserved.
Murder is not the penalty for trespassing on government property. She was unarmed, with police directly behind her.Duckhook said:
I don't care that a bunch of J6'ers went to jail.
I don't care that one of them got shot during the riot. F16 loves FAFO. She definitely FAFO'ed.

I don't care that Trump pardoned a bunch of the nonviolent ones.
I remember way back when, starting a thread about whether using Mace or Bear Spray was the "use of lethal force" when applied to Jan 6ers but not the Capitol Police. That made no sense to me. If Bear Spray was non-lethal force in the hands of law enforcement how would it be lethal force in the hands of others? How was Bear Spray a lethal weapon?4stringAg said:

Question here that will probably get me flamed:
Isn't it reasonable for us to say that this large, sweeping pardon for all J6rs is a little bit concerning since there are some of these guys who actually were violent?
I'm fully aware that 99% of these people should never have been jailed, but did Trump's pardons include the actual guys who were involved in violence? Forgive me if this has already been discussed.
FWIW, I fully support the idea of pardoning the J6rs, I'm asking about these certain individuals.
I used to feel that way until I saw the footage. Even the cops knew they had been set up by leadership. They knew that shooting into the crowd was only going to inflame the crowd even more.tsuag10 said:

Folks, it gets worse:

Reports that Muriel Bowser is refusing to release the #J6 defendants because their bodies show signs of TORTURE while in custody
She wants the injuries, broken bones and black and blue faces to heal before releasing them to the public
Okay that sounds strange. The Dems had to know Trump had a good chance of winning based on polling well in advance of Jan 20, 2025. Wouldn't they allow enough time for the hostages to heal. Why risk leaving damning evidence. Sorry this doesn't add up.Nanomachines son said:Folks, it gets worse:

This is why they aren't being released immediately. These people were tortured in prison.

So you are for shooting trespassers. I am too. Open season on trespassers will be fun.

Every Jan 6 should be a holiday. We all go to the Capitol dressed in shaman gear, beat up cops, break in for a 'peaceful tour' and poop on the speakers desk. Sorry Mike, it's tradition. All while chanting to hang the vice president.
So glad these brave patriots were released.

Actually it wasn't a house. You should be ok with shooting a trespasser who climbs through a broken window at a store too. Also trespassing is trespassing. Shooting the kid that break into a garage to steal beer like the guy in Michigan should be ok too.

Babbit was never trespassed so essentially she was killed for walking around.

No deflection at all. I said I am for shooting trespassers. You brought up the home exception and I agreed with you. I am ok with shooting trespassers breaking into businesses too. I am consistent. Are you?

While we're at it can we shoot shoplifters?

If they are trespassing shouldn't we be able to?
