Ok hear me out. It's kinda a mix between "Hunger Games", 'The Hunt" and "Deliverance."

We round those judges up and let them loose in a deeply red state.

Things will work themselves out.

I know this is the way it's done but why does a federal judge (not even the head of the judicial branch) get to veto the head of the executive branch?

Unless Trump can do the same thing to the judicial branch this is not BALANCE of power.
No, I don't care what CNN or MSNBC said this time

Trump is free to ignore any court order he wants. There's nothing the courts can do to him.

The check on that is impeachment.

Do you think this congress is going to impeach Trump?

So, update. Judge rules that Trump didn't fully comply with the order.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/judge-finds-trump-administration-violated-court-order-halting-funding-rcna191528

Team Trump apparently said that they didn't restart "some" of the funding.

Judge says you have to specifically identify fraud to stop funding.

This is absurd.

Biden was hardly the first President to issue preemptive pardons.

I have no idea who the first was, but one relatively recent example (i.e. within my adult lifetime) was President Ford's preemptive pardon of former President Nixon.
How many issued preemptive pardons to their family members?

When a judge's "ruling' goes against the constitution and against current law, that judge should be impeached.

I think the better measure would be number of times overturned.

If your opinion gets overturned by a higher court a certain number of times in a set period with that being upheld by the Supreme court you should have to relinquish the bench because you suck.

There should also be a better method to fast track more time sensitive cases through.

This shopping for judge's is ridiculous.

Have there been any specifics on what fraud occurred? I haven't seen anything other than tweets saying there is fraud with the one exception being the list of things Leavitt read at a presser a couple of weeks ago with no source for those items.

You are making the same mistake many of the judges are in their rationale of their ruling.

ie. They are not addressing some of these injunctions as a matter of law. They are addressing them from a viewpoint of how "awful" Trump is. "Trump's Overreach". "Trump's efforts to 'destroy' the Constitution".

None of those are legal arguments.

they are not above the law no matter how bad you want them to be. sorry our government doesn't allow your favorite oligarchs to play king.

You and your ilk talking about not being above the law is high comedy.

Spot on. And continue trying it in the court of public opinion, "this judge thinks it's wrong to deport rapists and murderers to their home country", "this judge thinks federal aid should include transgender operas in Columbia", "this judge thinks taxpayers should be giving money to ProPublica". And of course, continue with the legal appeals - embrace the grind.

Trump is the duly elected leader of the administrative branch. The fact that you did not vote for him does not allow you to limit the authority or the inner workings of the executive branch.

That goes for solitary Federal judges as well. If they issue injunctions and base their ruling on some sort of "Orange Man Bad" rationale, they - as well as the injunctions - are primae facie evidence that said injunctions are more of an intrusion by the Judicial branch into the lawful workings of the executive branch than they are of any check on an abuse.

Again, just because YOU think Trump and Musk are liars, doesn't make it so.

It amazes me of the cognitive dissonance that liberals are going through to oppose cleaning up our government. Arguing that officials who are elected by the MAJORITY of the country don't have the authority to see who's getting checks from the Treasury, but any random employee of the IRS has access to ANY payment over $600 going to or from any checking account.

That is the literal definition of insanity. And I'm tired of daily irrational, illogical arguments. Bring a real argument, or give it a rest.

Are you saying that:

1) Musk and team is lying about the data that they posted that shows all of that grant money going to sources like Politico? Ben Stiller? The team is providing EIN numbers.

2) That you have seen the descriptions of what has been sent to these EIN numbers, and don't think that any of that is fraud?

3) You haven't seen any information that shows specific descriptions of disbursements from USAID that includes NGO EIN numbers?

4) You actually have been living under a rock, and just didn't know it?

Has to be one of the above 4.

What law is Trump breaking? What part of that law? What activities, specifically, is he doing that is against the law?

Trump and Musk are using an established government program USDS that has congressional funding and legislative authority to access information systems to find efficiency. This department was established by Obama.

If you believe that Trump is breaking the law by using this department, write your congressperson.

Trump is not above the law. That is why he is obeying the law.

Fraud does not necessarily equal funding things one party doesn't agree with.

If there was actual fraud people would be calling for indictments

I'm not calling Musk or the DOGE team liars nor do I disagree with the audits they are conducting, what I want to know is what is fraud and what is stupid spending. Stupid spending should be eliminated, but that doesn't make it fraud. I am familiar with what the CFR says about distribution of federal funds and the end states of those funds. There is a long paper trail between the Fed and end user of those funds, that's what I want to see, not just the pass through agencies. That is where fraud would be found and anyone abusing that should be prosecuted. Said simply , there are two categories-stupid spending and fraud. Fraud is easier since it implies criminal intent. I want to know what the stupid spending is and then investigate why that decision was made. That will fix government, not a bunch of tweets.

Trump has a lot of wind at his back in his actions, that wind provided by what the Dems have done the past 8+ years.

The rhetoric, the lawfare, the lies… they pushed all of that not just too the limit, but way beyond like a coyote who has outrun the roadrunner.

Biden showed time and time again that you don't have to follow court orders. He'll, you have Pelosi and Schumer screaming that you don't have to follow what SCOTUS, threatening investigations court packing and the like any time they disagreed.

You challenged the immunity of POTUS to the point of having SCOTUS tell you they do. And pardon authority of POTUS, again Biden showed you there are no limits.

The libs are painting themselves into a glorious ****ball of muh democracy at stake goo, that the best thing to do is watch them twist themselves over and over.

As for what Trump should do. Nothing. Just keep moving forward. Let the lawyers handle these cases, keep the work going where you can, and tilt at the next hole of fraud, waste and abuse.
