Yes. But killing regulations will help "free cash flow" occur at a lower price per barrel.

Yes, the Saudi's are already withholding something like 1.5 million barrels per day to support the price. They produce at something like $8 a barrel. We can produce at something like $50 a barrel. We might have some increased production at current prices, but nobody is going to dramatically increase production given the risk that the Saudi's could change course.

I'm curious to know what acreage the GLO has left to lease. They were down to doing stupid stuff, like leasing the old river channel of the Brazos River under Possum Kingdom Lake 15-20 years ago (their lessee drilled a well which effectively knocked out production from a Brazos River Authority lease on the surrounding property (old wells operating at low pressure with one compressor to get into the pipeline, new configuration would have required multiple compressors). So, one state agency got a well at the cost of another.

And they would, of course, if they saw the US as a threat to even marginally cut into their share.
