My guess is that's where this is going.titan said:
Yes, its truly time to follow the Andrew Jackson precedent. The previous administration was a nest of criminals and so was any elevated by them.

I think there's supposed to be a hearing today? There are so many different cases, hard to keep track of all of them.samurai_science said:Well how long until they file the unjunction?aggiehawg said:A TRO is not appealable because it is not a final order like an injunction is.samurai_science said:

Oh so the TRO is pointless and the money is not flowing. The judge awards the injunction then Trumps team puts in the appeal?aggiehawg said:I think there's supposed to be a hearing today? You might be thinking of the TRO that the federal employees union demanded against Trump's voluntary resignation order. That one was dismissed because the judge (a Clinton appointee, BTW) found that the union didn't have any standing. (The resignation offer wasn't even available to union employees, so no harm was proven.)PCC_80 said:Obviously. But, applicable to the same issue ? ? So many cases to keep up with.SwigAg11 said:PCC_80 said:
I heard something last night about another Judge finding that Trump did have the right to pause/halt funding. Anyone else hear this ? ? Same case ? ?
Different judge.

Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN), now governor of Indiana, was not present to cast his vote. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) voted with Republicans against Ali. If Braun had been around, it would've been a 50-50 tie, and the nomination would've failed because Kamala Harris wasn't in Washington DC. She was on vacation in Hawaii.
