In fact, in most cases the developer of an app often doesn't have access to the tables once an app goes on-line. It's literally impossible to leave a database open in a public cloud. You'd have to go out of your way to do that. They are built-in with security to prevent this. They don't to get sued.
They should have kept their information on paper in a salt mine. That's the best way to do it I've heard.

You may also want to better understand that there are these things called web submission forms that push information to a database. This forum is such a site. You draft information, submit it and it goes to db16.
If you have followed the rules, then the information remains. If you have violated the rules and posted misinformation or false information, it will be reviewed.
If you hack someone's account to post the information, you have broken the terms of this website.
For these "hackers", there is a reason they wished to "remain anonymous". People engaging in activities which may violate the law typically seek anonymity.
