I like reddit, it is a large part of my internet usage.

It is the largest echo chamber on the internet. r/Texas was stunned how Ted and Trump sailed through Texas. Months of cheerleading and blowing each other to the point that they thought all conservatives left the state.

Only because I questioned the one sided nature of the posts. I don't even use profanity, nor did I attack any individuals.

I've never been on Reddit and plan on continuing that. Seems like an awful cesspool of leftists. Dark and depressing place.

I've found a few space-related reddits that sometimes had interesting posts, but never bothered to login (I think you can do this with a Google ID). Zero interest in engaging with the reddit community which seems to self select the dimmest folks when it comes to anything political.

There are some great subreddits centered around hobbies and niche interests. Most of the larger subreddits are liberal echo chambers.

I have a sitewide permaban on Reddit for "promoting hate".

Before that, I got banned from a city planning subreddit for saying something non-transgender-affirming.
