I am going to disagree with you there. They Mairi have even employed a haka fillibuster in parliament to prevent a resolution from being passed that would take away special "more equal than others" privileges they enjoy.

It's one thing when a bunch of jacked Maori dudes do the haka before a rugby match.

But in the Parliament with a woman screaming her head off with her eyes bulging out as she rips a bill and others joining in like a circus show?

The Haka has become a cliche'. It was cool when the world "discovered" it 20 years ago or so. But now every team with even one South Pacific Islander on it seems to have taken it up. Plus, let's face it…the bulging eyes, sticking out of the tongue, etc….it ain't intimidating. It's unintentionally hilarious. Especially in situations like the tweet above.

The Maori (where the Haka comes from) are spoiled brats in New Zealand. They get special BS priviledges over the rest of the population due to "oppression" and whatnot. Lee Foliacki and his high school teammates were early adopters of the Haka. The first actually. Very intimidate. Almost got them past 2nd round of playoffs.
