Well, Biden wanted to do it with what 87k new IRS employees? I'm sure all of those people would have been totally unbiased and honest, right? This is just the same except more automated and actually without bias. It'll be done in bulk and the analysis will be automated up until a point it looks like there may be fraud.

In the real world, this would be akin to "Under pressure from the CEO, the tax department is looking into sharing data with the internal audit group."

The IRS is within the executive branch. Trump literally IS the executive branch, so if he wants it to happen then it SHALL happen.

No one else gets an opinion.

If you want to accuse them of misusing, then wait until you have some standing to sue. Till then, kindly STFU.

I'm still trying to figure out how BILLIONS of Gov't funds go missing all the time... but yet, they have no issue at all tracking & monitoring the taxes owed for 150+ million working Americans!

Well, let's set aside the fact that yes I do have money for a good FOIA lawyer and have employed them several times for PIA (FOIA term for Texas open records request) requests and for responses to PIA requests I have received.

Regarding Musk stealing AggieHammer2000 super secret tax data, well that would be against the law and I have seen no indication that Musk has a track record of using his companies, his wealth and his influence to break the law.

In fact, at great considerable personal costs he opened the books at Twitter to show corruption and law breaking and is now doing the same with D.O.G.E. as an UNPAID special employee of the fed govt.
