Several decades ago, a neighbor was seriously hurt when an open truck hauling sacks of potatoes hit him at a country intersection. He was seriously hurt, had to close his tire shop after.

Within an hour, word had spread and @$$h0les were driving out from town to pick up "free" potatoes.

Otherwise known as stealing from the farmer.

Probably cost more in gas than the potatoes were worth.
