Israel WAS a socialist country in 1948 until 1978 when the Likud Party took over from the Labor Party

Netanyahu has been turning them free market since the 1990s

there are still government owned industries and companies such as Rafael and the ports

Bibi does want to take power from the leftists in Israel who do set price controls on ketchup and increase taxes on imports to prop up their own bank accounts and power.
