I'd like to see a map showing where these schools are located and how the counties and states tend to vote.

The list of signees are pretty much exactly who you would have expected. For the most part, East Coast, West Coast, Ivy League, small liberal colleges, and a whole bunch of who-is-that type schools. SEC, SEC, SEC!
I support this statement!Ag87H2O said:
You know you're over the target when you start seeing flak.
I hope this letter to Tump is like saying sic'em to a guard dog.
They got it backwards. By removing federal tax money(bribes) President Trump's administration is giving them the right to teach and say whatever they want.Owlagdad said:
They say that Trump takes away their independence, while they take away independent thinking and encourage group think and of course their way of thinking.
That would be very interesting, thank you.Omperlodge said:
Trump should put out a list of the value of their endowments and the amount owed by students who attended their university. My guess is that they racked up their endowments on the back of the students and the federal government.

John Hopkins was the number one university voice during the pandemic - and constructed Covid rehearsal and reactive plans for all of us. They were the institution of "science" behind the witchery.

More than 100 presidents of US colleges and universities have signed a statement denouncing the Trump administration's "unprecedented government overreach and political interference" with higher education the strongest sign yet that US educational institutions are forming a unified front against the government's extraordinary attack on their independence.
It has long been known you take Uncle Sam's dollar, you dance to his tune. They were fine taking it with Dems in charge. Buckle up buttercups.
Here's the letter and signatories:

Not seeing A&M or tu on there.

Sad to see a former colleague of mine signed this letter.
These colleges are dependent on government and full-paying foreign students to stay afloat.
Harvard's Form 990 for 2021 showed $9.6 billion in revenue (about $5 billion from investments) and net earnings of about $3.8 billion. They took in about $1.7 billion in tuition, room, and board. They're graduating students with six figure debts. If it were run by a conservative, we'd be hearing about "Big Education" fleecing our students.DallasAg 94 said:
I quit giving to A&M when I realized how large their endowment was.
The US Gov should not be giving money to schools who have large "endowments." It is clearly "for-profit."
I hated that Obama moved Student Debt/Lending into the Gov. But, here we are.
You forgot he's taking a sledgehammer to a problem instead of using a scalpel.beeger12 said:
You people crack me up. The fact that you think he's not over stepping his boundaries is laughable. He (nor any president) should have any say so into what MY university does. This is the road to dictatorship and most of you either don't care or haven't paid attention in history class. He's following the Orban playbook to a "T". Wake up and pay attention:
1) suing/attacking the media (minus Fox of course)
2) ignoring Judicial orders (even when his admin admits they deported in error)
3) no due process (you think this is fine until he targets you and yours?)
4) controlling museums
5) controlling universities
6) unilaterally slashing agencies that they have no constitutional right to do so
7) stacking justice dept with sycophants and targeting his political enemies
8) firing all inspector generals so there's no oversight on whats going on on (that the press doesn't discover)
9) giving his largest campaign donor access to gov't systems and OUR PII data (if Obama/Biden had given an unelected foreign born national access to any of these system most you would have had a heart attack).
Who also provide no alternative solutions to the identified problems. They'd just rather complain about orange man.ABATTBQ87 said:
Other than that oversite your list is the typical idiot talking points by weak, spineless, limp wristed liberals who hate change and would prefer to suck on the hind teat of the government.
Well then, your university does not need those Federal grant dollars. That way, it can do whatever it wants.beeger12 said:
