This certainly explains a lot about why the government is the way it is. What responsibilities it should have, and who should benefit the most.

Some federal departments show Blacks make up 33% or more of the employees, yet they're only 14.8% of the total population. As a whole, they make up 18.5% of all federal employees.

https://apple.news/Ak_44EfSqRwGvAesdebeUDA

Now they're worried about the harm to black workers with Trump slashing federal jobs and doing away with DEI. Seems like DEI, in this instance, should result in more non-Blacks getting recruited and hired, given the percentages above.

Why do people think a key role of the federal government is just to create jobs to hand out paychecks??

And the race baiters on the left are cheering for joy at this news. Now they can have another unmerited reason to bash Trump.

Most federal jobs are not in DC.

And what would be the reason for DC to have a higher black population? Could it be at least in part because they go there specifically to find & fill federal jobs? And then get all of their friends & families a leg up to secure federal jobs? Then they create new positions to fill with their friends and family?

Every job I have ever had I had a fear of potentially losing my job. For most people they won't work very hard without that motivation.

Well, that's just great. Those blacks are now going to vote for the Democrats 98% of the time instead of 97% of the time.

Apropos of nothing really, as my Dad died unexpectedly in 1982. But when events interfered to the point I needed to move her again, she had kept the original letters from his superiors about how good of a job he was doing. She called them his "Atta boy!" letters. That was in 2010. Some time after he had passed. But I saw how companies did help and encourage their employees.

Does that even happen now? Is a "Good work" email the same now?

Look at the comments made about federal workers on this board over the years. Apparently, most people are "too good" for government work then draw dumb conclusions when they find out who's actually doing the work.

This post is 100% identity politics.

One, your assuming that the blacks hired are due to DEI.

Two, he clearly says that blacks are the reason why the government is ****ty. The DEI stuff comes afterwards and he clearly means that blacks are the problem. It's dumb and lazy. Government is naturally poorly run, no matter who does the work.

Why would we defend the government? One can call racist bull**** what it is without virtue signaling. The poorly run government isn't due to the race of the employees.
