But with that said the video should be seen as a half serious joke but apparently the US strategists have discussed the concept, probably while doing coke and or drinking.

Pronounced like mark. Drones plus 30-50 ft boats with mother ships with fuel/food weapons is a pretty nasty combo. Put a bounty on Chinese coast guard, militia and fishing/transport boats. That'd be interesting. Could probably station quite a bit in the Phillipines.

Everyone has been joking around on this thread but Zeihan the Hated has been predicting nation state sponsored piracy for a while now. I always thought it was bunk until I saw the first naval drone videos.

This is why we MUST onshore to North and South America. Regional transport will be the only secure transport a decade from now.

A reality TV show based on real life Americans just prepping for this would be interesting. You wouldn't even need to see fighting.

I can imagine a lot of dudes with no boating, let alone, naval skills, buying all the wrong things and planning all the wrong moves. But I could also see some guys in a warehouse somewhere in the south with a welder and machine shop producing something worth taking to sea.
