There is one scenario where Rubio could beat Vance even if Vance is endorsed by Trump.

If the next three years go very badly for the administration and it's widely recognized by everyone as having gone very badly, then Trump and his nomination will not matter anymore. In that case, it really won't matter who the republican nominee is.

Outline a scenario for me where Trump has a successful remainder of his presidency and endorses Vance, but Rubio gets the nomination.
