I'm all for the rule of law - but there is no going back once bullets start flying. Innocents, whether you consider protesters innocent or not will get caught in the crossfire.

Anybody who is arrested for rioting against ICE. ICE should do a quick check to see if anybody in the family is here illegally and if they are. They need to swing by the house and give them a free trip to the border ASAP

I just dont think this is this big of a deal.....right now.

The Marines are assumingly being brought in to protect federal assets. If they don't perform law enforcement duties like arrest people, it appears to be within the purview of the president.

If they need to start doing things like detaining, arresting or fighting (to whatever degree) the rioters outside of protecting a federal building, then, trump just has to invoke the insurrection act.

It isn't weird. It is just a matter of perspective.

For those that view the riots as American protestors that are out of control. Then the appropriate response is police action.

For those that view the riots as foreigners waving foreign flags and burning property and attacking law enforcement, then the appropriate response is military action.

The truth is complex and somewhere in the middle. There are peaceful protestors, dumb kids doing dumb things, and foreign bad actors.

To my knowledge, standing on a street corner making fun of non-sense protesting is not really a way to rate an individual's ideological commitment.

As far left one could be would yield an individual supporting total govt. control and as far right one could be would be complete anarchy or 0 govt. control.

One could suggest that those protesting ICE are far right wingers. They do not want there to be laws or a govt. to enforce laws.

Fairly certain those you call right wingers are mere hecklers of fatties and law breakers.
