With forensic accounting nowadays, pretty far back. Not in any way my specialty, but I bet they really would only need to go back around 24-36 months for funding purposes to figure out who was paying who. They often had to keep records too, for non-profit tax purposes (meaning they filed with the US Gov't to document their costs/expenses/funding sources).

According to prosecutors, the group began by shooting fireworks at the Prairieland Detention Center before one or two individuals broke off to spray graffiti on vehicles and a guard structure in the parking lot.

He was one of six that took a plea deal (nine went to trial), but then when it hit home he could still be looking at 15 years in prison, he rolled over some more and testified to what other defendants said and did while in detention. Total snitch and looks like a total dweeb.
