OK. I finally got a chance to watch it. Long review… read if you want, don't if you don't.

Overall, it has some funny parts. And honestly, they are making fun of the woke liberals in the beginning and throughout just as much as Trump.

Kind of weird though that Eric would be so upset "woke" being dead since he's never been that character he's always been politically incorrect. But I guess his sadness is over not being able to make fun of them anymore. But then Cartman has always been an opportunist. Remember his own trans bathroom and the mobility scooter stuff.

I think it was a little tacky with the Trump parts (but they're known for this) and of course they're portraying him as a way over the top of what he actually is, but there's some minor truth there in some of the things said.

They have a very black and white view of Trump, which is not the truth. He's not the monster they want to make him out to be. And Trump is not taking bribes and he is not that overweight.

The part in the desert was very tacky though. Extremely. They would never do that to Obama or Biden or especially Kamala and it was pretty gross that they did that here.

They truly should be ashamed of themselves for that, but they won't be.

The 60 Minutes part was pretty funny. But they deserve every bit of that. They lied and lied again. And they paid for it. As they should have. But not out of revenge.

But I can tell you right now. They would've never portrayed Joe Biden or Obama or especially Kamala as being naked or screwing Satan on their show. They would've never insinuated about size of their manhood. Flat out they never would do that.

Until they make fun of Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Barack, Obama, AOC, Crockett, Rosie or all the other ones out there, their credibility is a little shot here.
But they've never liked Trump. So this isn't anything new.

What is laughably asinine, though is pretending that everybody is now scared of Trump and doing things only because they fear what he will do to them. The people he is suing, has sued and is threatening to sue or people that are legitimately doing things to harm our country. It's not just random.

And a lot of this is stuff is finally getting targeted because of screwed up things like mutilating, children, men in women's sports, perverts in bathrooms, the Democratic support for socialism, indoctrination on our school campuses, DEI, being pro-terrorist, Very biased news reporting. Getting rid of lot of the excess USAID stuff is doing this as well. So again they're not being completely honest about this.

I'm sure they will completely skip over the connection between Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and half of Hollywood with Epstein and putting all the focus on Trump, the only one that kicked him out out of his life and didn't visit the island. I would be surprised if they went there with others.

I also don't ever remember them completely skewering Islam either and we know they would never show Mohammed, Charlie Hebdo anyone? So until they do that, again, they have little credibility there, too.

At the end of the day, it's a television show. You're not forced to watch it. Over their nearly 30-year run there have been several shows that over the years that they really went way too far or very disgusting. This is just another one of them. Mostly they've been pretty funny though.

Honestly. Our Democrats in office, our legacy media and our former brain dead president have said many worse things than this about Trump. That's why the left is having so much fun with this.

We literally saw the Biden administration do so many evil things so if anyone sleeping with Satan, pretty sure it would be them.

I gave it about a C-. I've seen much better, but I've seen much worse. I think in the end it reflects much more poorly on them than Trump.

Pretty much. Look Trump is fair game. Have no problem with people making fun of him. I think they went too tacky with this, others who hate him don't. But again in the end, it's just a show. If they had given this treatment to Obama, Biden or Kamala, which we know they won't do, I would've been laughing as well. And I actually did laugh at several parts of this show.

i've been watching the show since it's inception. And as I said earlier, they've had some really funny ones over the years and they've had some really gross ones over the years, they have gone too far many times with many characterizations of many people.. And then they've had a lot of mediocre ones.

But they're pushing this boundary because they know they can because of the hatred of Trump. They will never, ever push this extreme of a boundary with the Democrats. You will never see a show on the jokes about Michelle being a man or Obama being gay, potentially getting arrested or Kamala being a drunk.

Especially after the pathetic uproar over Colbert and the lies as to why it was really canceled. CBS is really making a mistake letting that piece of crap pontificate the next 10 months. My hope is he will go too far and it will be an immediate cut off. But we'll see. I don't watch it. I occasionally see a clip or two, but can't usually watch more than about 10 seconds. Remember, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert and Bill Maher are all failed actors. You can find them on old shows like murder she wrote, law and order, etc. When that didn't pan out, they pushed into what used to be comedy, but it's turned into propaganda for the DNC.

Your review is fairly rational, although saying stuff like their depiction of Trump is tacky and they should be ashamed of themselves kinda suggests otherwise... These guys have shown Jesus doing drugs, Santa Claus being tortured by terrorists, Hilary Clinton with a nuke up her vagina and multiple jokes about how nobody wants to go up there because it's disgusting... the list goes on and on. Yeah, almost 24 hours later, I think the one piece of the episode I can't write off as South Park being South Park is the implication that Colbert was wronged / he only lost his job because of pressure from Trump / he's (in Matt and Trey's mind!?) a comedy peer that they are willing to stand up for and defend.

Trump went on SNL numerous times and was willing to make fun of himself before becoming a politician. He even went on Jimmy Fallon and let Jimmy touch his hair when he first ran for President - it was NBC who were poor sports about it and Fallon was hammered for being too 'nice' to Trump. Then he went on the podcast circuit last fall during the campaign and made fun of how he rambles when answering questions. I don't recall any presidential candidate since Reagan poking fun at themselves while campaigning.

So no, you aren't accurate about that at all. And you conveniently leave out old Joe, who most people weren't even willing to make fun of because the jokes hit too close to home.

They got rich and comfortable. The show hasn't been the same since at least COVID. They don't take as many chances and play it safer. Of course the show can still make me laugh, but it's not nearly as good as it used to be.

They just got a nice deal with Paramount so I don't think they're concerned about lawsuits. And the lawsuits had more to do with news portion of CBS actually doctoring footage and inaccurately reporting the news...Trump didn't sue because of the late night comedians making fun of him. He's just spiking the football over them getting hurt by this.

I think what disappoints me is how much they've laid off the woke culture these past 5 years and all the non-Trump craziness in DC. They mocked the "politically correct" regularly in their early years. It just seems like a more selective, corporate, version of the show now.
