Have lived in the Charlotte area (mostly) since 1993. The Mecklenburg County justice system is a joke.It's well known amongst criminals in the area that if you are going to commit crime, you do it in Meck. You're more likely to be let out and have charges substantially reduced or dropped.

After law school, I clerked for a SC state judge - he was the Chief Administrative Judge for the 16th Circuit (York and Union counties - counties on the border with NC and adjacent to Meck). I heard more than one defendant appearing before the judge complaining that the charges they faced for crimes committed in Fort Mill, SC were significantly higher for the same conduct than they would have faced on the other side of the border.

Unfortunately, Charlotte has become Atlanta's junior brother and is now basically run by the DEI industrial complex. Vi Lyles (the mayor) cares about nothing more than her status in that group.

That video screams schizophrenic. Just little to know reason for it, other than a guy that does not have it together mentally.

Reminds me of Thomas Johnson, former 5 star Texas A&M receiver. Went from catching passes from JFF at Bama in 2012 to randomly murdering a jogger in a Dallas park by hacking him with a machete.

Thomas is currently doing life in prison. He's about to get some company.

When America watches the movie called, "The judges start dying". I would never watch that movie and I would never act it out. I also hope nobody watches that movie either, but eventually, when things get bad enough or a certain someone is killed, one head of the medusa will be whacked off for everyone to see.

but she knew it would not be safe to look like a model walking around Charlotte.

I used to live in West End Charlotte near the Panthers Stadium (about 10 years ago)

Charlotte Mecklenburg is a great place to live if you have a lot of money, but they keep the section 8 projects right on the main street leading to the downtown. literally it's like 2 miles from downtown.

Apparently she had headphones in too. She likely hasn't been in this country long enough to learn there are just certain things you don't do. Imagine leaving a country at war only to get knifed in the throat to the country you came to.

I'm not sure if its not allowed or what but people need to start suing these prosecutors, judges, mayors, etc that allow these repeat offender ferals back on the street to continue to prey on people.

The reason this sentiment is complete and utter dog sh** (not you, Axios) is the Capt Obvious role reversal scenario.

Some disheveled, crazy, white trash, redneck, brutally murdering a young, pretty, black girl who just got off work. For absolutely no reason, she never saw it coming. Now imagine this happened in a very red city. Now imagine this guy had 14 priors, many of them violent. Top it off with a very conservative white judge that let him walk again recently.
