I am conservative / Republican- just going by my own instincts, not the narrative.
Maybe more will come out to clear up these points, but it doesn't line up yet.

I'm far from being any sort of conspiracy person. That said, those text are absolutely scripted. The language used by both show all of these messages were meant to be found.

Of everything I heard in the press conference today the two things that stand out in my mind are the "my old man" and the "squad car" comments. One sounds like something you'd hear in a very rural deep south area and the other sounds like something you'd hear in a 1950's police show. Maybe I'm overthinking this and it's very much like the Coke vs pop thing concerning soft drinks, but neither of those sound much like words young people and especially enlightened homosexuals use.
I showed this to my 21 and 23-year-old sons, and they said no one they know this age texts like this. They said, "Mom, this is how you text".

Today the judge denied the defense motion to have the prosecutors removed from the case. The daughter of one of the prosecutors in the county District Attorney's office was present when Kirk was shot, but she did not see the shooter and will not be a witness in the case.
By the way, Robinson's attorney is one of the few in Utah certified for capital felonies. She is currently trying a case being broadcast on Court TV, of the woman who allegedly poisoned her husband with fentanyl then wrote a children's book about grief and loss.

Ridiculous headline and a terrible explanation by the author of the article. It's a defense filing.
The filing here says the ATF could not definitively link the bullet to the rifle. That makes sense why? Because the bullet fragmented and apparently only a few pieces were recovered. And bullet analysis is largely BS anyway. Even with a completely intact bullet it's a crapshoot whether you are going to definitively match it to a gun and even then it's not all that reliable of a process.
Just be prepared for this defense to file everything under the sun and act like everything is the biggest deal in the whole wide world. Obviously it's their job to provide a zealous defense but she goes a bit dramatic sometimes. There's nothing subtle. There's never a minor quibble. Everything is "the world is falling on us poor defense team" big deal. Not blaming her for it but just be prepared.
Keep in mind the dude was caught largely because he confessed to his family and they were able to link everything back to him after the fact.

Yeah and it was obvious guilt on that one. Defense didn't have much to work with. Hard to judge a defense team when they have almost no facts on their side.

It's going to be non-stop for a while. People lack critical thinking and forget that the first thing any defense attorney will do is to try and suppress every bit of evidence for any reason they can think of. It's a helluva lot easier if you can exclude evidence than it is to try to impeach or disprove it during trial.

The Dems/Libs would love to get a not guilty verdict or at least a hung jury in this case. They hate Charlie Kirk almost as much as they hate Trump. In their minds murdering a Conservative should not be even considered a crime.
