So we actually don't know why he did it, but half this board thought it was an Israelite sniper squad.

And yeah it was reasonable to guess that someone shooting at Kirk was a left winger.

I don't think it's any type of cartel Hitt taking out a specific detainee. If it was, they wouldn't have killed themselves. They would've been killed in a shootout cartel. Soldiers don't kill themselves.
