People should be taxed for the government resources they consume.

For many things, like defense that is probably about equal. But Microsoft should pay more for things like copyright enforcement than most of us.

So what are you going to tax people on Medicaid? That's a huge money drain

I mean communism only killed somewhere in the range of 20-100 million people in the 20th century. That hardly seems like an important thing to teach kids.

It makes you wonder why communism, which killed tens of more millions of people than the naziism did, is not taught but the word Nazi is thrown around daily by leftists.

Where do you live? What high school do your kids attend? All 3 of my kids learned about communism in school in their History, Economics, and Government classes. One kid graduated from our local public high school. One kid graduated from a Dallas private school. The third kid is currently attending our local public high school.

Clearly that means Medicaid should cease existing. As people would simply be paying the taxes + middleman for their own Medicaid check.

All of this crap should be 100% private anyway.

The correct answer is to provide a system where people can create their own wealth so that they can get to the point where a $500 auto repair bill isn't so painful anymore. Making someone else responsible for it is immoral.
The best way to keep evil men from wielding great power is to not create great power in the first place.

US spends roughly $13,500 per citizen not counting SS and Medicare. Everyone should be paying that. Of course they can't so the "rich" have to pick up the bill.

No way. If they teach what it really is, they will have a much harder time convincing impressionable children to grow up into godless commies.

They all three learned how evil, deadly and destructive it is? Or did they learn it's core tenets (which always sound good to young ppl on the surface)? Big diff.

We definitely learned about things like communism and socialism, but the harsh truths of both systems were never taught. We basically just learned the defiinitions, which, again, can sound somewhat appearling to a dumbass 15 y/o who hadn't already been taught better by his father.

Which is what a majority of the community really wants. Most parents couldn't care less about social studies.

The problem is that the current generation has been taught that we are all equal. We are not. We all have different intelligence, work ethic, creativity, and drive. While we should be treated equally by government, the government can not make us equal "unless they apply a tremendous amount of force". That is why communism always ends at the same utopian dystopia.

I'd much rather my children learn that from me. What could government school teach them about society and it's true inner workings and problems than me? Will social studies teach them that certain groups of people are significantly more dangerous than others? And more of a drain on society? That diversity without assimilation is a horrible thing?

Not only would their teaching be vastly inadequate to mine, I don't trust that my children would not be propagandized to some degree into believing some things that are false. I would NEVER in a million years trust a democrat (even a more moderate one) to give better social studies lessons than me or my wife. LOL you got me f'd up.

When I was in school, we were all taught the evils of communism.

Neither of those books was about Communism. Or socialism.

They were about totalitarianism. Animal Farm was about the rise of Stalinism as Russia struggled with revolution. 1984 was chiefly about an oppressive government that spied on its citizens, spoke lies to its people and required obedience to every order

Socialists usually start out with a naive political philosophy who often force their citizens into this scheme and even when the citizens (eg. Venezuela) vote for socialism eventually the socialists eventually enlist totalitarianism to keep socialism.

But, one is a naive political philosophy and one is a means to force a political philosophy.

Things like this...

- Diversity without assimilation is a cancer upon any civilized society and we see that playing out in Western European countries and even here
- Democrat policy is horrendous for major metros and leads to significantly increased violence and bloodshed. I will explain to my daughter that these godless democrats care more about the lives of rapists and murderers than they do hers
- That certain demographics are more dangerous than others and should be viewed and approached as such by any rational human being
- That the democrat party, since the 1960's, has wreaked absolute havoc on the black community and family structure...which plays a large role in the bullet point directly above
- That our government has been intentionally flooding our country with millions of unvetted third worlders and that this is horrible for society and leads to increased violent crime, rape and murder
- That there may be some good people working in government, but that it is inherently bad and oppressive

I could go on and on...but I will teach these things to my daughter and tell her to do what it takes in school to get good grades but that the educatonal system is mostly comprised of lying democrats who hate Jesus and love baby killing. To question everything they teach her outside of subjective fields like math, science, and some literature.

We owe it to our offspring to tell them the truth.

Are you serious? The group that makes up roughly 6% of the population and commits like 60% of violent crime. The group that is 12x more likely to murder whites than whites are to murder them. The group with almost no fathers or good male role models in their communities. Do you think you are being clever or that your lack of awareness of reality makes you better than others?

Oh I trust and respect many black people, don't be silly. Thomas Sowell (agrees with me btw), is one of the greatest Americans of all time. It's largely socioeconomic...but it has snowballed out of control over the decades as there is a vastly disproportionate amount of young black men that are more violent/dangerous statistically. This is a FACT. Do you debate this? Even Jesse Jackson was saying this back in the 80's/90's.

Stats do not lie. If you want to talk about reasons why young black males commit so many violent crimes, and why Asian males commit so little, that could potentially be a solid discussion, on another thread.

Just curious...are you Roland Martin? BC you sound A LOT like Roland Martin lol. So sensitive and whiny.
