I actually go to Mass at the Abrahamic House in Abu Dhabi, a national monument where a synagogue, church, and mosque share the same location. It's across town from Mary, the Mother of Jesus Mosque.

This apparently oxymoron in italics likely not a typo, and if so it points out something more should take a look at. Its not realized sometimes the standing of Mary and Jesus in Islam. The focus is on what they are not, but this misses how high they are. Its one of the basis for Catholic very long-range notions of some kind of eventual rappoachement. But this should be kept entire separate from the whole current immigration and Islamicizaiton risk debate. Just something to notice.

Try praying to Jesus anywhere on top of the Temple Mount, even in an obscure, out of the way area, and see how quickly you get chastised and booted off by the Muslim security, likely never to be allowed to return
