Be careful what you take for truth from Wikipedia. That page on Prescott Bush has been edited to death because someone has been trying to paint him as a closet Nazi. I remember editing out some stuff 20 years ago that was flat out wrong.

That's true, but it's true for all of them. Trump was a pro choice Democrat right until he decided he wanted to run for president and determined he had a better chance with Republicans.

I respect the no invite from both sides of it. No reason for the Cheneys to have to invite folks who you do not respect and who in turn have no respect for you. And no reason to demand you be invited when you know you hate the dude and he hated you.

Decorum has long been overrated. I want more Kid Rock and less Liz Cheney.

I watched Bush's eulogy of Cheney. Cheney is one of those figures reviled by both left and right, and I'm not saying this absolves Cheney of anything he did. Or Bush either. I just thought it was a well-delivered eulogy.

He's been out of the public eye for a long time. McCain died pretty quickly after being Senator.
