I thought the magic dirt of America would ensure that these "natural conservatives" from the third world would vote for American values. Or so we've been told for years by the pro immigration GOP

It may seem petty, but I am sure plenty of Indians in Mumbai would vent if, over the course of 20 years, they started to become a tiny minority and fewer and fewer people spoke the native language or wanted to assimilate.
LOL. Not sure if you know, but this is an ongoing issue in Mumbai (and has been for decades), where locals are antagonistic against people from other places that don't speak the local language. So you are spot on.
Nothing wrong in wanting more white people (and i get the nostalgia ) . But I think that's a symptom. America is not a racist country, i.e. your color doesn't define you. Its one of the least racist countries in the world.
The problem is that many of those immigrating are doing so for a better life and it's a purely transactional relationship. They aren't here to become Americans. They are here to make money and have no problem converting America into whatever ****hole they came from. That's problematic.
Mamdani is the epitome of this.
Indian and Chinese voting patterns illustrate this as well.
