I put on Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote cartoons for my grandkids instead of the parade. They appear to be enjoying the violence and non-woke messaging. Damn…I'm the best grandfather!

It's planned snd organized by coastal media executives to be a continuous commercial advertisement. It is going yo be as leftist bubble as those media executives and marketers are. I still enjoy the nostalgia of it playing in the background while I get ready to go to thanksgiving with the family (short 1 hour drive for me), so I don't take it too seriously. I do always find it amusing how it is always a hyperbolic praise fest of all the performers.

Rephrased: Unfortunately it will go away as that happens, but believe most here agree that price might be too high. That `why'.

But soft sharia is already happening NYC --- there have been some videos. It occurs wherever you start having a buildup. London is probably past that stage, but not sure.

Yeah, that's what we do also.

When it first started going woke 10-15 years ago, a cousin and I would do mimosa shots everytime something woke came on the screen.
Had to finally give that up one year when it became apparent we'd die of alcohol poisoning by 10am if we kept it up.

I asked my wife about this this morning because I keep seeing stuff on my IG feed about the two actresses in Wicked. Apparently, the two leads have announced they are in some kind of semi-demon, asexual, amorphous, non-binary, relationship thing. I have no idea what any of that means.

In addition, they apparently keep crying and exhibiting trauma during the press promotion interviews on this new Wicked sequel. I saw one video where the black girl lost her mind and started crying because a helicopter happened to fly over while they were giving a press interview.

The whole thing is extremely bizarre. I think they were cooped up too long making this movie and the fantasy nature of it made them insane.

I've been to the parade twice in the past and I can't even watch it now. Not because of woke but because it's become nothing but a series of ads for singers and Broadway shows.

We've been watching it or going to it in my family for 40 or so years. Last years was so bad that I had to turn it off. But it seemed much better this year, with performances from genres of all types and for all age groups. Foreigner? Not bad.

I prefer the more American thanksgiving traditions of slamming brewskis and slinging the pig skin to my kid and his friends in our yard. All the while reminding them of coach had put me in 4th quarter in '98 we'd have gone to state, but I tore my right shoulder meniscus and sprained my left lateral incisor.
