Most people, even the ones bad at math, know that means 79% of the boats are found to have narcotics on them

You're right. If you blew them all up instead of interdicting them, 80% were drug boats sounds a lot better than 20% were murder.

Paul gets credit for consistency. otoh, not one Dem said a word about Barry dropping a bomb every 20 minutes for 8 years - many of which fell on non-combatants.

Lawmakers on the House Judiciary Committee - Republicans and Democrats alike - expressed concern on Wednesday about U.S. drone strikes against American citizens and President Barack Obama's secrecy in laying out the legal justifications.

Representative John Conyers, a Democrat from Michigan, also questioned the targeted killing of non-citizens and said he was troubled by "signature strikes" against suspects who appeared engaged in suspicious activity but whose identities are unknown.

100% of the boats blown up had drugs visually confirmed making 100% of the crew engaged in an active narcotics terrorist act against our Country.

Period. The end. This is over.

Right…because they are just doing it without using the most sophisticated military intelligence apparatus in the world.

I missed the part where we are blowing up ALL the boats?

What if we just blew up the boats where we had really good intel.

Good intel + 80% chance of a monkey throwing darts being right......probably good odds.

He's just so typical of a Republican. No democrat does this. None.
How about you go after the dems and how they're trying to ruin the country instead of playing to the MSM.

Drug runners use "go-fast" boats (the type being struck), but they also try to be sneaky and use regular fishing boats going slow. Sometimes Coast Guard has a hunch on a slow fishing trawler and it's wrong. No big deal….but a jet boat going 35 knots across the ocean with 5 motors….that ain't no banana boat joy ride.

Drugs are coming here because there's a market for it. Teach kids to make better life choices and legalize more drugs, and the illicit market will shrink.

I don't think this is just about the drugs. I think it's about the Maduro regime - the drugs are the major revenue provider. Take that away and times get tough for him. Striking boats is one of the easy, legal levers to pull.

Rand Paul isn't the only one to the right of crazy that has questions.

I posted this in another Zuela thread and I will paraphrase here. It is not hard to set up a live stream with a boat full of kittens with false drug intel. Democrats would easily pay for that supply/labor cost and Madruo would approve it. It would only take one mishap.

Yes legalize the most addictive chemical products on the planet and the market, again for the most addictive products on the planet, will shrink. Because the demand for THC products has shrunk post legalization. It doesn't work.

I get that people take the huge rise in crime from prohibition was the lesson from prohibition, the problem is that for the majority of people alcohol does not have the addictive effects of many modern drugs. Yes it is a huge problem for some people, but that should not be applied to make the US a huge target for an opium war and further societal destruction because you believe your self control can apply to the whole society. It clearly cannot.

the cocaine cats! If they can train a band of cats to drive a drug boat, well I feel bad for the smart cats. In all seriousness, the camera imagery pre strike is very good. Better than the twitter videos.

I was part of the Cool, Honest, Intelligent, Clear-Headed, Energetic and Not interested in drugs. CHICKEN Clurb or gtfo.

Demand is part of it and should be continually addressed.

THC legality in America has been off to a rough start because…. It sprouted in heavy D areas. Get a couple of intelligent, smart business guys, make it legal across the board, and the market will normalize away from the illegal and "hemp-derived" and towards better quality, better research, better oversight, and such.

In the meantime, blow the narco terrorists to the moon, particularly if they are smuggling a boat of kittens. We sure as flip don't need to attract more hungry Haitians.

In almost all certainty, there is continual 4k video from multiple angles and likely 2-way audio. Except here, the concept of "sources & methods" and classified technology actually applies.

Congress will have their oversight consisting of Rs calling Hegseth and friends a patriot, Ds yelling about Trump and reclaiming their time, and a behind doors briefing that ends with Rs coming out saying they are satisfied and nothing to see here and Ds coming out saying they say definite evidence of potential war crimes that may require potential investigation whilst wearing a "muh Speech & Debate clause" t-shirts.

Fixed in bold? Is that better. Hearings? Wall to wall media coverage? Nada

The 'both sides' argument is soo intentionally transparently inaccurate.

Man, I wish Rand Paul cared as much about Americans in Kentucky, the actual state he is supposed to represent, as he does about this kind of stuff that is completely out of his responsibility.

When clinging for their lives to a boat that had been blown up, they were transporting millions of drugs? How could they possibly transport at that point?
