The renaming of the Kennedy Center was the first in a frenzy by Trump to build monuments to himself. It was followed by the "Ball Room" at the white house, the "Arch De Trump", and the current attempt to create a new monetary denomination of $250 with Trump's face on it. Monuments are normally built by following generations in honor of someone, not by the one honoring himself. I just hope that Trump does not make our country's 250 anniversary celebration all about himself.

Trump is wanting to put his face on currency and you're hoping he doesn't make any part of the 250th about him? Did you not hear he's holding a rally as part of the celebrations leading up to the 250th? I'll be incredibly surprised is he doesn't say anything at that rally making the celebration about him in any way.

Can I be wrong? Sure. Since this is Trump we're talking about, I can also very much be right.

He's earned the right at this point to rename the place Donald John, District of Trumplandia and cover the entire place in gold leaf.

But at the very least he can put his name all over the 250th celebrations. If it were Biden or Kamala, it would be rainbow flags, drag queen story hours and apologies for all of our embarrassing history as the most terrible country to have ever existed responsible for the only instance of chattel slavery ever to have occurred in the world.

Trump has earned the right to have his name on it.

Let the Dems keep pushing. He can have it condemned and demolished over a weekend.

Then what? Stomp harder cause Orange Daddy brings the pain?

Sorry libs. Your loser bus keeps on losing.

So much so he fired the existing board of directors and replaced them with a bunch of ass-kissing lackeys.

Judge on the case is married to peepaw's personal attorney (and counselor Eric Holder). It's a parody of a fair impartial jurist/legal decision, at best.

It was also plaintiff Norm Eisen; he makes his living off (talking about) suing Trump Admin. Virginia/DC judges are probably all subscribers.

The left fights us from every front. We're still trying to play fair. They aren't. This is why they're winning the cultural battle.

The fun thing is they will spend so much time and energy distracted by this while Trump is busy doing real work.

I think that's the point. Keep them chasing shiny objects

Earned the right? How? Are we talking that he's done something along the lines of ending the Cold War, wining WWI, WWII, The Civil War, The Revolution?

What has he done that no other president has ever done, or could do, that's been so great that he should be able to do all mentioned?

And, you're right, if Biden or Kamala were president, it would be woke AF(!), but at least they wouldn't brand ever thing they could with their names. I mean, it's something.

Solemani, Al' Bag Daddy, Khomeni(s), restoring patriotism, cleaned up DC and making decades long improvements to our nation's capital, survived 3 assassination attempts, endured more legal persecution than Jesus Christ, on and on.

Lincoln's didn't end the civil war, he started it. FDR didn't end WWII, Truman a don turned out to be a very non consequential POTUS. Reagan gets points deducted for allowing the Iran issue to get a toe hold that has since lasted 47+ years.

So yea, IMO he's earned some rights.

You may adore Trump even more than Mort from Madagascar loves King Julien. Do you like feet, too? "Your loser bus keeps on losing" is caricature worthy.

And we have a sick burn from cartoon world. This tracks.

Real Men don't watch animated movies with their kids.
- the Real Men of F16

This real man watched plenty of King Julien including knowing who voiced the character.

They also still take their kid to Disneyland. Ironically built on a former orange grove.

I can respect your opinion. To me, not one of then in my lifetime has really done anything that couldn't be done by anyone else or undone by anyone else, save Reagan and the wall and cold war, and even then, looking back, those things were very likely to happen eventually anyway.

Still, at least we don't get a woke 250th.

She said that Trump had raised over $131 million in private and corporate donations; the president even convinced Congress to provide money for infrastructure needs that were desperately needed.

So, the Democrats can keep throwing fits, but Trump will keep tackling the issues and making things better.

This is how Trump was able to get the Kennedy Center Board to add Trumps name to the Center. Trump probably donated heavily himself. Generally when you donate lots of money you get some perks.

I think Trump should take the money back and at the same time condem and close the place before it collapses.

Then very loudly let the world know that the Kennedy Center lost the biggest contribution ever because the Dems/Libs have TDS.

Personally, I think that he should top that by then building a Trump Center for the Performing Arts nearby (yes, will require investment/real estate that is tough to come by) and via endowment/investments make it shame the pathetic decrepit Kennedy Center.

Preserving the facade of the Kennedy Center was a gesture of kindness, the next move could be epic.

A lot of people just have no idea how decrepit this building is, imho.

It's a facade waiting to collapse.
