Trial is scheduled for June 2026.

What type of jurors are typically seated in Collin County trials? Is it a law and order County?

Where did you see that the trial was to be held in Collin County? Baytown Sterling is in Harris County and the Harris County DA's office is the one prosecuting him. I actually won't be surprised to see the Harris County DA's office find a way to lower the charges to jaywalking or something so they can let him off with no punishment given the current DA.

Very clear he was responding to the poster asking about the Frisco murder.

Sorry, didn't look at the reply to. I was just skimming the thread to see what the latest was and saw him talking about Collin County.

I wonder if that judge is married to the attorney who defended AJ Armstrong.

Well that was a roller coaster. First - there may be no doubt, but we have process for determining that - a trial.

And we can't know if that trial was conducted properly without allowing appeals. We should expedite that trial and appeals process significantly compared to how it is now though.

But the idea of executing people so mentally ill that they don't understand they are being executed is damned dark. I can't even get in the right headspace to go into an explanation, but most non-psychopaths understand why.

You need not have an appeal to know if a trial was conducted properly. Following your logic, then the appeal would need to be appealed to see if the appeal was conducted properly. Wash, rinse, repeat.

What happened to you to make you always goaltend for the worst in society, whether it be leeches existing off the work and sweat of productive people or criminals? Had to be pretty extreme, or maybe you have benefitted from being taken care of by others?

It's just astonishing we've let the left create a culture where one race doesn't matter. A good chunk of people in the country think white lives are less important than others. Truly astonishing times!

One of the redeeming things about most of the districts in deep STX is that somehow, someway they get the real troublemakers out of the schools.

In talking to my old HS coach who was a several term boaed president of a large ISD in the RGV he would not give me details but basically said we work closely with local LEO and the bad kids we get rid of, it can be done if you know how to do it and are willing to fight the fight. He alluded to the fact that local cops and judges are hard asses as making a big difference.

I am shocked that some of those kids in the bigger districts are kept in school.

I don't condone bullying, but if you're going to bully someone, possibly don't pick on the dude with a history of bringing weapons to school.

There was a death in New Braunfels a few years back where a student died as the result of actions by another student. Lots o finger pointing and outrage. The accused even went to trial and was acquitted

After the trial word got around that the decedent had been bullying the accused. The accused snapped back and punched him which then resulted in a head snapping back or hitting the wall. Bully died almost instantly. I think once that story made the rounds this controversy faded away.

true, should not have folks like this in traditional education settings. A total mismatch and distraction.

No doubt as to his guilt, should be executed immediately. Intentionally take a life, you lose your own. Don't care if he was mentally ill, might work to his advantage. They can always tell him they are strapping him to the gurney so that he doesn't fall off in his sleep.

That. Need about 10 years of keeping it real simple. Make it about actions. Murderously mentally ill is reason to do it, not to refrain. Rabid dog.
