An Indian GP missed some pretty obvious signs of ovarian cancer on my mom. Basically lost 6 months and any chance to get in front of it. My mom ultimately was in so much discomfort over a weekend that she ended up in the ER. They scanned her and discovered a grapefruit size tumor and multiple liters of ascites that had to be drained off.

My mother had an Indian neurologist about 2019. At age 79 she started having trembling and other nerve issues, all classic signs of Parkinsons. He swore up and down she had something else and would continually shrug when pressed what he thought. Had her on tons of meds that did no good. She a switched specialists, and the new guy diagnosed her with Parkinsons and reduced her meds down to just a couple. Her life is much better now.

Some doctors don't know sht.
