I had always looked at jobs in those locations and was like " Man, how does anyone afford to live there on a modest income and have any quality of life. Where are the teachers and cops living?"


If we examine this I think that you will find 2nd generation and natives are leaving for more quality of life, they are being replaced by migrants.


Many of the current migrants are not the flag waving glad to be here types

I recall an article I read a week or two ago, can't remember where, and I don't know if it's a done deal, or just a proposal, where anyone that decides to sell any housing, must give the city first right of refusal, otherwise they can't sell. Going to research, see if I can find the article.

it's called COPA. It passed in the City Council while Adams was Mayor and he vetoed it. So they just need to pass it again and Mamdani will sign it. Then the legal challenges begin.

Foreign-born people have absolutely led to the degradation and downfall of these big cities. Inferior cultures bring their inferior ways with them, and these cities have advocated for these inferior cultures to take over.

NYC and London are the two most important financial hubs in the world, and both are now run by communist Muslims. The communist mask will last until/if the Muslims become a large enough percentage of the population that they shed the communist ideology and shift to Sharia Law. They flat out tell us that is the plan so we should believe them.

SFO is unique here. It's 40% white and 33% Asian (Oriental). Blacks are only 5% and Muslims are almost non-existent.

Thus, they still have enough superior culture running that place that they can pivot back to sanity which is what they've done compared to their leftist peers.

You don't even have to pick out the big cities to see this. My wife and I bought our first house in a NE Austin/Pflugerville suburb in Aug of 2000. New development, all new houses. Average home owner was pretty much like us - young couples starting out or mid income families. Yards were maintained pristinely. No cars parked in the street. Pretty much no crime we ever heard about.

25+ years later that neighborhood is unrecognizable.

We handled real estate closings for home builder in Austin back then. There were entire swaths of new neighborhoods that were being purchased by Pakis and Indians forming their own enclaves. Not like the homebuilder could refuse to sell to them but it was disconcerting. But it was clear that by banding together, assimilation was not high on their lists of priorities.

Weird thing is they would pay a little extra because the full landscapes, front and back were already installed and the Pakis in particular would then pour concrete over the majority of the back yards for some reason that escaped me.
