They were pushed and pepper sprayed because they were in the street harassing people.

Things escalated from there.

It's a really poor decision because if you make a cop feel like or think you have a gun and you're already wrestling with them, you're going to get shot. It's best that everyone knows that. All parties. Don't wrestle with the police.

Fact 1. The guy was impeding law enforcement
Fact 2. It appears that ice was going to arrest/detain the lady. The deceased clearly grabs her, further involving himself ina situation he should never be in
Fact 3. Once you insert yourself in this situation, it may end poorly.
Fact 4. The man was armed.

Opinion: Its hard to tell, but it appears to me he is reaching towards something the moment t before he is shot.

Fact 5: no matter hoe much you may disagree, let ice do their work without impeding them. Stay out of the way, one the sideline. Yell, scream, protest, vote. Once you insert yourself into a situation, theres absolutely zero guarantee you wont be arrested, injured or worse.

Get the **** out of the way.
