Somebody intentionally misled you and seriously do you think they could just flip a switch and make that happen ( in a cost effective way) in 6 months

Guess what? Whether you sweeten soda with cane sugar or HFCS is irrelevant. Cane sugar breaks down into fructose and glucose in an acidic environment.

Live hear a little Mexican restaurant that makes awesome breakfasts and sells pure can Coke in bottles with the best damn huevos chorizo with tortillas, beans and rice. Mmmmmmakes you think.

See, that seems like a science and health topic, not politics, but I also can't argue that it is in fact also politically charged these days.
It's almost like there are no non-divisive topics these days.

Does anyone remember back in the 80s when you could get a soda in a glass bottle with a styrofoam label for insolation? That was a quality way to enjoy a beverage.
I sure miss this...

Quincey said the new offering would "complement" Coca-Cola's core portfolio of drinks, suggesting it could arrive as an alternative, rather than a replacement, for its flagship Coke product.
Exactly, it will likely be a more expensive offering probably sold in glass bottles in a four pack. There's virtually zero chance of mass produced 12 packs being made with cane sugar and sold at the same price as regular coke.

When I worked at Sun Microsystems an instructor quipped that Mountain Dew was the fastest to sell out at the training center.

Yep, I was going to post the same video. The phosphoric acid renders the type of sugar irrelevant after an hour
I prefer the flavor, but I have no illusions that it's healthier. The Sun said:

Mentioning "coke transitioning to sugar" might keep Trump from target bombing Atlanta and extracting the CEO.

NYT did a large blind test and few could tell the difference. Biggest perceived difference was when same product came from glass vs plastic container.

This is stupid. If you can't tell the difference between Coke made with cane sugar or high fructose corn syrup, your taste buds are shot.
This reminds me of all the people who don't believe in tonewoods for electric guitars. They believe there is no difference because they simply don't have the ability to hear the difference. That doesn't mean there isn't a difference, it just means they can't tell the difference.

Agreed. It's night and day.

Same inflammation either way.

So far only in some glass bottles. Is coca cola going to change to cane sugar in cans and plastic bottles? If so, when?

Go weigh out 40g of table sugar and see how easy it is to dissolve it into 12 ounces of water. I always figured the corn syrup was needed just to keep it from crystallizing.

I'm a Ph.D. chemist. Walter White could be my technician.
