And the arresting officers could not take the risk to believe Floyd was having a significant health problem, because of the violent way he was resisting.

Except at the other cops on the scene testified that Floyd stopped resisting after a minute or so and they repeatedly tried to intervene as they were worried about Floyd's appearance and non-responsiveness but Chauvin overruled them.

The court case broke the timeline down into three phases:

9:29 seconds was the period Chauvin kneeled on the guys neck.

4 minutes and 45 seconds as Floyd was claiming he could not breathe and needed help, 53 seconds of Floyd experiencing seizures, and 3 minutes and 51 seconds that Floyd was non-responsive and not moving at all.

At the six minute mark, Officer Keung checked his pulse while Chauvin was still kneeling on his neck and could not find one but Chauvin still refused to to adjust his position.

When the paramedics arrived on the scene, they confirmed Floyd had no pulse.

All this was documented meticulously and every bystander recorded the entire event.

Don't pardon. Have a new trial and make everything public. Make sure he gets acquitted.

Why would they have a new trial?

New evidence? Prosecutorial or juror misconduct?

This is not North Korea . . . .you can't just order a new trial because some internet posters think it is a good idea.

Because critical evidence wasn't allowed in the first trial. There was overwhelmingly social pressure to get a conviction. That needs to be investigated and revealed.

Good thing Floyd did the world a favor and OD'ed to death

Which the jury did not buy after listening to the evidence. All the defense needed for an acquittal was to convince a single juror there was reasonable doubt and they couldn't even do that.

Because any jurors who voted for acquittal would have had to go into witness protection.

This. The jurors were basically asked "Is he guilty, or do you want to create an excuse for Black people to riot?" Not really a fair trial.

Would be funny to quietly pardon him then put him in federal witness protection.
