On a conference call with folks in Biloxi and Savannah and they are saying that some people have service, while the person sitting next to them does not, both having Verizon service.

Mine was down from 9AM until 1PM today, in Northwest Arkansas. Stuck on SOS the entire time. We're up and running fine now.

The Hubs and I have AT&T and that has happened to us before. One of us will have service and the other not and we are in the same house about 20 feet from each other. Just weird stuff.

can confirm the same thing. I am sitting in a guys office at work.

both iphones, both on verizon, he has service, i'm sitting on SOS.

i have been since around 11:30. It came up for about 15 mins around 1:30 and then back again.

I can text via wifi, but can't make calls even on wifi.

weird.

Were both of your accounts set up through the same initial network? i.e. Houston or DFW? I have seen speculation that those situations may come about from the phone accounts being initially setup in different markets with different "home" networks.
