True. And their ad people who had been successful creating iconic ads have mostly aged out only to be replaced by woke DEI people who mistake virtue signaling with the main goal of the advertising biz...selling product.
Can't remember which year it was but I recall being highly critical of a Superbowl ad about Detroit, Eminem and the Chevy Volt. The EV was the product but that was not even the focus of the ad. Yeah, how well did that work out for them? LOL.
We don't even drink any beer anymore since we aren't at the lake. The Hubs was an avid original Bud drinker for decades. He's not coming back, nor do I think many of the millions of disaffected former customers.
But returning to their roots using the Clydesdale is a step in the right direction to reestablish brand recognition, IMO.
