All AI videos shared on social media need to be required to have a watermark stating it's AI

It's all an illusion and dependent on being plugged in. Also dependent on you being on your phone or on your computer.

Put your phones down and interact with each other. That's what we need to do tons more of. The guys inventing this stuff are not using it

I am not a tech guy, I am sure some of you can clean this up for me with relative ease. I don't see why we (or AI) can't just make a BS meter? Kinda like SNOPES (may not be a great example but you get the picture) does for "facts"?

Just have an app on your phone/tv etc. that can verify what you are watching is AI or not?

AI development and opposition has been around for a long time. The iPhone changed that.

This x's a billion. You want to control youth and votes? Show a fake video online and kids are cooked cause they believe a whole bunch of online crap that's fake already.

That would be up to each individual social media and platform to regulate. I wish YouTube would make that a formal policy. So much AI slop.

You can still tell it's AI. The scary part is within 5 years you won't be able to tell what's real and what isn't.

Just last week the Claude Opus 4.6's AI agent team - not a team of humans, a team of AI agents - built a working C compiler in Rust in about two weeks - no humans writing code. It then used it to create a bootable Linux 6.9 kernel for x86, ARM, and RISCV.

Human cognitive labor is on borrowed time.

Where does engineering fit in with all of this? Will AI be able to design well plans, perform architectural services and MEP services for a building, design new generation facilities and transmission lines?
