Just when you think AOC is as dumb as she can possibly get, she actually pulls out even more dumb.

Seriously, that woman is a moron.

She's an absolute idiot.

With a nice body.

Which in some circles is considered the perfect combination.

Vance/Rubio or Rubio/Vance for the ticket. DeSantis for AG or SoS.

Trump may not be the king, but he's a kingmaker.

Vance/Rubio or Rubio/Vance is looking good.

Rubio was still a Bush/McCain/Romney neocon in 2016. Trump was the critical first step to reforming the Repubs.

I clearly remember that era. I voted for Rubio in the primary. On TexAgs, initially during 2016, the ONLY acceptable candidate was Ted Cruz. Suggesting any other possible candidate was met with scorn, ridicule, and name calling.

Since the primaries unexpectedly started going in Trump's favor, we've now had a forum where , for 9 years, any one not on the Trump train receives the same treatment - scorn, ridicule, and name calling.

A lot of Republicans told me last election that they wanted Trump policies without Trump. Well, here you go, thy name is Marco...

An incredible speech and a very strong vision for the joint future of America and its European allies. But, were most of our Allies paying attention and/or in agreement? We can only hope so!

I think Trump has provided clarity for republicans who may follow him as prez and other offices. The opposition's reaction to him has perhaps woken up even some that are center or a little left of center.

Not that Trump is a good guy, he's not, it's just that he wants America to be America and not be a communist pit of despair. It's hard to stomach him at times but he is being effective.

Everyone knows I backed DeSantis in the 2023 primary because I felt that while I had voted for Trump twice before- he could not win after being impeached twice and facing 100 felony charges.

but before that, I had supported Rubio in 2016 as the voice of the party in the "New American Century"

now ten years later- we have found the leader who can cement all the gains we have made the past ten years!!

If Vance truly loved the Republic and the GOP -

he would put aside his own venal ambition at age 40 and support Rubio who is more experienced in every way.

Vance has another 16 years to run and still be a young man.

Not only is Rubio the most well spoken Republican since Reagan, he would be the first Latino president and cement a majority of the latino vote for decades in the GOP.

he would also get more of the female vote than Vance.

The republican primaries are going to be pretty stacked. Rubio, Vance, DeSantis.

Rubio already stated he would not run if Vance runs for the nomination.

which is why Vance should proactively put his ego aside, support Rubio

and be appointed as the SecWar in the first Rubio Administration.

win/win

Since Ronald Reagan, the leftists had Bill Clinton and Barack Obama for SIXTEEN YEARS with their oratorical skills

the conservative party has been without a cogent message under GHW Bush, GW Bush and Donald Trump

as much as supported so many of the policies- all three are awful at giving a world class defense of conservative ideals and foreign policy down to the most minute level.

we should not make this mistake again!

We are on the same page. I supported Rubio in 2016 and maxed out donation for myself and my wife.

He has grown immeasurably since then. Great speech today.
GOP has an impressive new generation.

The dem-marxist have AOC, Newsom, fatman in IL, etc…

God help us if the general public does not see the difference.

I think Rubio was led astray by McCain when he first got to the Senate. Rubio has grown up since then.

I hope you're right. I don't trust anyone that ever advocated for amnesty. I do think he is better suited for jobs like his current one and not those that can make bad policy a reality.

I like Rubio a lot. And Vance. And DeSantis.

I think of them generally as 1A, 1B, and 1C. Any of them would make a great president, period. Especially compared to what the Dems offer.

Too early to tell who's best for 2028. That's still a long way out there. Need to read the room as we get closer.

Amnesty is better than open borders, which is what we're gonna get if we don't have a strong candidate next presidential election.

This is why nobody here takes liberals seriously. You prove time and time again to be unserious people. England's Prime Minister has been told by the Muslims in the north that England is going to be a Muslim theocracy in the very near future. That should terrify you. Yet somehow you think the worst of an overall spectacular past 500 years somehow matters to the future. Nothing is perfect. No era. No person. No nation or its history. But you, me and literally every other person alive anywhere on earth today would rather be middle class in the west than live in a Muslim theocracy. Well, maybe not you if your shame over the bad parts of the past 500 years of western history somehow justifies the destruction of the greatest civilization in world history. The good news is if we don't get serious about defending our culture the resulting Muslim theocracy will eliminate your right to make such ridiculous comments online so you've got that going for you which is nice.

Great speech. It was interesting how many times he mentioned Christianity in his speech - I would bet it ruffled some feathers among the secular European elite in attendance.

Clever way to point out the very real threat that is the Islamic takeover of Western society. Not so much to push an Evangelical agenda and/or a return to a more observant Judeo-Christian society, but rather to point out the stark differences in the societies that inevitably follow the establishment of these two religious philosophies.

Extremely well done! I can't recall a politician that has performed so well in his role without having to hold my nose at times for some stupid and unnecessary public discourse. Really, really impressive speech that I hope sticks with the European nations attending that conference.

Oh please tell what concerns Americans? Is it auto-pen corruption, incompetent leadership, back room deals appointing candidates instead of electing them- 2024 DEM primary, Rampant Minninsota-esk fraud, a weak incompetent military as we saw under Biden, Institutionally implemented racism via DEI, YEP YOU ARE RIGHT. Stuff like this concerns me.

Your party's corruption and chronic incompetence concerns me. The lies and media cover-up of the left's sins concern me. If Americans really paid attention- the democrat leadership would be in prison right now.

Cant down vote this trash fast enough

Dems apparently aren't as receptive

Quote:

But Vance's false accusations at last year's conference that Europe is suppressing freedom of speech and democracy, and facing civilizational decline are now enshrined in US national security strategy. Rubio did not have to do much to sound friendly.

First of all, this is a bold face lie by cnn

Quote:

Conference organizers had warned that the world was in an era of "wrecking ball politics" that had left Europe on the sidelines, in a report published right before the conference. Now Rubio was telling liberal centrist foreign leaders that their entire outlook was wrong, echoing the far-right populist opponents who might well unseat them in upcoming elections.

Liberal centrist is funny. The guy writing this doesnt believe that. I also didn't hear much of a populist message, but scare monger you must.

Rubio is a lot less polarizing than Vance or DeSantis. He'd stand a much better chance of winning the general election in 2028.

Each of the three would be a great president but I think Rubio would stand a much better chance of unifying the country as much as it can be unified now.

That's a great message. A less Eurocentric version of this speech given to Americans would do some good imo. It lays out a vision that people need to hear and contrast with the leftist cluster f vision.
