I'm really glad she saw the light & broke out sheer lunacy over global warming. I liked how she talks about how it started for her and then what woke her up on the issue. It's worth a watch.

It's crazy that YouTube has to throw their 2 cents on the subject by adding a note about climate change (global warming)……………..

thanks for posting. outstanding. rare case of a useful idiot seeing the light and admitting she was a useful idiot and now proclaiming all the emotional single issues with Marxist undertones are intentional by the Marxists planning them. ...BLM.. pro-Palestine.... open borders... and of course climate alarmism.

Yes to a certain degree:

Key Names Mentioned
Lucy Biggers: Interviewee, former climate activist, now head of social media at The Free Press and climate realist.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC): Collaborated with Biggers on Green New Deal promotion; described as less vocal now.
Greta Thunberg: Interviewed by Biggers; noted for shifting to pro-Palestine activism.
Leonardo DiCaprio: Featured in documentary "Before the Flood" that influenced Biggers.
Josh Fox: Director of "Gasland," another influential documentary.
Shailene Woodley: Actress whose Standing Rock call-to-action video went viral via Biggers.
Al Gore: Referenced for "An Inconvenient Truth," shown in schools.
Bill Gates: Cited for recently downplaying climate threats after funding related research.
Steve Koonin: Former Obama energy undersecretary; author of "Unsettled," quoted on climate facts (e.g., 1.3C warming since 1850).
Patrick Moore: Co-founder of Greenpeace, now a climate skeptic whose work Biggers references.
Chris Wright: Mentioned as Trump's Department of Energy pick, pulling back from international climate bodies like the IPCC.

One key point I picked up was that she said having the Doom Goblin being the world's leading face on climate change made her uncomfortable, but she was already so indoctrinated she just had to brush it off. Any dissenting point was dismissed because they thought it was biased without even looking into the data and facts. Now she realizes how stupid it was to have the Goblin up there.

Notice how most of the faces of the movement are idiots? Pawns.

Al Gore is an idiot. Great Thunberg is a ******ed freak with no real world experience. Even Leo was dragged into this as a kid with no life experience. These people are puppets who either don't understand what they're advocating for and why or they just want other people's money (Gore). It's a Marxist movement and the only people who believe in it are indoctrinated.

If you go to Belize and take any tour- fishing, scuba, snorkeling, etc., they'll tell you how Leonardo bought an entire island and the locals successfully fought against all the landfilling he wanted to do on his island that would have destroyed local wildlife habitat and local fishing economy.

OP thank you for posting. I have a few thoughts after watching:

1. I am glad she took it upon herself to question, challenge, and research what she was being fed. Now, can she pivot and do this for all the propaganda the same 'cause-heads' have been feeding her?

2. I have seen multiple people present their mea culpa and then they pivot to a victim mentality. "I was lied to." If you were a scientist, media member, activist, influencer, etc. you were 'victimizing' others. The mea culpa for you was a start but you have a debt to repay for the damage you caused. In this case, sharing content to others showing how you were wrong is a good start.

3. Not related to the topic, but I watched this at 1.5x speed with captions on... good lord we need to get the "like" tick removed forever. "I was like ...." "it was like..." "like" GUH!!

Your welcome. I thought it was very insightful and a starting point. I'm looking forward to how she uses this new founded knowledge and tries to educate others. I think The Free Press is trying hard to get back to what a newspaper was 30 years ago.

It is interesting how she arrived at her enlightenment. It is absolutely frightening how quick we surrendered to authoritarian control during COVID, but it did slap a large segment of our population back to reality.

Even worse than that in modeling you have to make assumptions and those assumptions have huge impact on the output. So, they are gaming their models to get the results they want.

It has always been about following the money. In terms of modeling, you are a research scientist whose sole source of income is research grants. Who is going to take the first check and publish anything that eliminates the need for further research and grant money on the topic?

Very good vid. Hopefully she can change some minds.

Unfortunately, there are still numerous white libs who post on here who are true believers despite the predictions failing, the models being completely wrong, etc.

That part stuck out to me too. I concur with her. COVID also changed me in that it was my wakeup call. In that we are not in fact, secure in our own country. I'm not even talking about a tyrannical government. I've always known that was possible. I am talking about our very society. Our neighbors next door. Our friends. Our families.

I will never forget how COVID changed not just the world, but people. To the day I die, I will never forget.

I am very fortunate to live in central Florida. At least in my area, we didn't see much of the neighbors ratting on neighbors kind of behavior.

I would argue Covid revealed it, rather than changed it.

From the movie Nuremberg:
Quote:

Douglas Kelley: They are not unique people. There are people like the Nazis in every country in the world today.
Radio Show Moderator: Not in America.

Douglas Kelley: Yes, in America. Their personality patterns are not obscure. There are people who want to be in power. And while you say they don't exist here, I would say I'm quite certain there are people in America who would willingly climb over the corpses of half the American public if they knew they could gain control of the other half.

Radio Show Moderator: Doctor, please.

Douglas Kelley: They stoke hatred. It's what Hitler and Göring did, and it is textbook. And if you think the next time it happens we're going to recognize it because they're wearing scary uniforms, you're out of your damn mind.

Agree. Plus, almost every time the interviewer would be saying something or asking a question more than a few seconds in length, she would say 'Yeah' or 'Ya' every two seconds.

But overall a great video. There is another by the Free Press of a young black girl who was a pro-palestine activist but very similarly, saw the light. (Sorry, I am a tech idiot so no link.)

We need more of these.

It's frightening how much Marxist ideology and nihilism has seeped into modern culture. One of the many reasons so many young people are depressed.

Excellent interview thanks for sharing. Thought it was interesting they said my peers (Gen Z) get so many tattoo's because they think the world is going to end, so who cares. I never even thought that could be a reason, I thought it was just an ugly fashion statement.

Back in the 1970's my high school had an analog computer (switches & gears analog) that did environmental disaster modeling. No matter what you did to the input parameters, the earth would be destroyed within a decade or so. Even then the hockey stick was programmed in the doomsday computer model machines. The major doomsday narrative of the time was that overpopulation would consume earth's resources, thereby causing famine and disease. Of course, technological advances in agriculture and energy production averted the disaster, and we are still around a half century after the machine predicted that we would all be extinct.

Even if the current computer models were legitimate, there is no way to program technological advancements that address the problems.

The fact that the global warming movement specifically disregard technological innovation is a huge red flag that exposes that the entire narrative is a fraud.

The real story has nothing to do with the climate change movement really, it's about how the left lures in someone and then makes it almost impossible for them to leave and how that is especially effective on young women who have insecurities and no strong foundational (typically male) figure to help guide them. Everything is based around appealing to emotions and attention.

She watches a movie with Leo who she likely finds attractive and is a very good actor and that is the bait. It makes her think about how she wants to be a good person like Leo and stop the bad people. She starts to get involved and gets lots of positive attention and feels like she is making a difference and being a good person. The more involved she gets the more of that dopamine she gets, constant feedback loop that becomes addictive.

Then one day she starts to actually do some critical thinking and realizes what she is advocating for doesn't really add up. She starts to question it and is immediately rebuked which makes her keep her thoughts to herself. The problem is by now she is in too deep. She has tens of thousands of followers on social. All her friends are in the movement. Her entire persona is built into that movement. It's not about the facts or the cause it's about her entire life being a lie and losing all her friends and attention she has received. The left is especially adept at collectivist pressure that makes it extremely difficult to step away because you then become a heretic and a traitor. You are a bad person and all of your friends will leave you and others will intimidate you. Unless you are a very strong and secure person that's almost impossible to get out of that loop and most people aren't, especially the type that get in deep into those movements.

Eventually she has had enough and makes the break. Of course as an aside she is now getting her attention by being an anti-activist with new friends. In the end it was never about climate change or Palestine or whatever it was about a feeling of belonging and positive attention.

There was another similar video posted a while back of a female who left the democrats.

She also had the exterior everything being moralized and thought she was being a "good person" supporting leftist causes.

The democrats have moralized the parties and brainwashed their members to see the parties as good vs evil, with the democrats painted as good and republicans as evil.

This is what happens when you don't have a strong foundation in God lack an internal sense of right and wrong. These leftists have become susceptible to group think and following others because of how they judge them, not their own judgements. Sadly a lot of these leftist grow up in this group think environment and it's all they know, therefore it's hard for them to see the reality or build and confidence in a different way of thinking
