It forced me to make the decision to post this thread which I had been preparing for a few months. I lived 8 blocks from a small grocery store that had a slider coke machine like this. You could get 10 oz (and later 12 oz) glass bottles of NuGrape, Orange Crush, Dr Pepper, and Coke for only 10 cents, but you had to pay a 2 cent deposit on the bottle. Candy bars were only 5 cents, so 3 empty bottles would get you a candy bar and several pieces of bubble gum.
