I've worked with many Canadians and they are insufferable. They have the most annoying little man complex I've ever seen.
They constantly go on about how they (aka the Brits) invaded America, or how they saved the Americans at the WW2 battle of such and such, or how the CN tower is the tallest thing in the world, etc… And all the time they are telling you how "nice" they are.
I'm sure this loss ripped their hearts out. Sucks to be them.

Aside from commodities like oil, timber, beef, and maple syrup there is almost nothing I can think of that I would want to buy that is made in Canada. Godin makes some nice guitars but beyond that, there's nothing. It's been that way my entire life. No sane person would ever opted for a 351 Windsor in preference to a 351 Cleveland. They have a per capita GDP lower than WV and MS.
