Well... the Canadian population continues it's unhinged triggering through insane posts on social media, public freakouts, and now leaving 'gifts' outside the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. They are absolutely triggered that the players celebrated their achievement with Trump:

TDS doesn't recognize borders, just like democrats.

These days? They've always kinda sucked, mainly because of those Frenchified commies over in Quebec.

We are literally 80% of their economy.

Canada does not exist without us for 6 months.

We should just completely cut off all trade, 100% with Canada.

We have plenty of oil, gas, lumber, everything we need down here that we purchase from them.

It would be fun to watch them deal with reality.

I've seen some absolutely bsc takes from Canadians, liberal women and the Toronto/Ottawa media. Just crazy stuff.

Every time I think of Canada this old joke comes to mind:

Boss: "Where are you from son?"
Employee: "Canada, sir".
Boss: "Oh, really? Why did you leave Canada?".
Employee: "Seems like it's just all hookers and hockey players up there."
Boss: "Oh, really?" "My wife is from Canada!"
Employee: "Really, sir? What team did she play for?"

25 NHL teams in the US. 7 in Canada. Cut'em loose and truly have the National (US) Hockey League. Bye Felicia.

1993 Canadiens the last team from Canada to win the Cup. Hockey isn't even really their sport anymore. Lord Stanley has immigrated south of the border but we're happy to keep that illegal alien.

Canadians have an identity of being the nice version of Americans because they have lived off of our largesse for decades. We gave them incredible trade deals and paid for their defense and essentially subsidized their healthcare and prescription drugs. Now all that is disappearing and they are faced with the reality of their situation that they have to actually earn their keep and it's making them lose their minds. They have loved their smarmy superior attitude and tut tutting and the US as they had their little socialist world protected by us. They never tangled with the lion and always knew when to fade in the background.

Now they are being shown to be just a bunch of petty losers with a bankrupt country. They have very little of real value outside of some natural resources that aren't really that unique for us. We are playing hardball with them and treating them as the junior partners that they are and it's hard for them to handle. The future for Canada is very bleak and the lifestyle they have lived is over, they have to change and either accept being our fief or become a 3rd world country and it has deeply hurt their pride.

The funniest thing is they have their "elbows up" and other campaigns trying to show how tough they are and Americans are somewhere between being completely oblivious to laughing at them. The more they antagonize the US the worse it will be for them, it is a war they can't remotely win. We literally dominate them in every category and have zero reason to fear them.

Sucks that they are acting like such children towards a hockey player for having the audacity to represent his country and win but at least it is showing that deep down they were little children all along and have no business at the big kids table.

This has always been the rub for me. Because we have footed the bill for their defense under our nuclear and conventional umbrella they have been free to pursue their socialist dreams at no expense.

I was up in northern Alberta on a business trip last year and tried to strike up a conversation with a guy in the small remote airport. He was rude as hell.
When we were boarding the plane I saw that his shirt said
"And on the eighth day God created Canadians because Americans needed heroes."
I busted out laughing.
I'm guessing he noticed my Texan accent when we were in the airport.

Sorry for the long quote and short response but I want to be certain it's obvious that I believe every single word of this is 100 percent accurate.

I remember I worked with a liberal Canadian back when 9/11 happened and somehow it came up that the US was going to end up going to war. She went on this rant about how Canada has been the peaceful country and avoided wars throughout their history. I reminded her that Canada still has the British Monarch as their Head of State and up until fairly recently were still a colony of them and participated in every war that England did. She really didn't like that. She was the classic elitist lib that thinks that because the US provided protection for them so they didn't have to really do much that Canada was this noble peacenik country that was above such things.

Also had a Canadian buddy from Alberta that was probably more conservative than I am, he's a US Citizen now and loves America but knows that Canada is basically lost and it makes him sad.
