Sadly, some people are giddy over because it means they can spike the ball and yell "the vax, the vax!" like people dying is some kind of victory for their side.

And no, I never took the worthless shots and never would. I just don't see people dying as some kind of victory or validation.

I for one am not "spiking the ball" There is no proof that the heart attacks were caused by COVID.

But, there is a lot to learn from when it comes to how we handled COVID. A study on whether or not the VAX increased the risk of heart disease would just add to that learning. More knowledge is generally a good thing.

BTW, hat tip to AgGrad99 who beat me to the punch.

The study was retrospective going back to 2011. The trendline is increasing from 2011. Not sure why the graph in the article focused so much on 2021-2022 because the study itself was focused on a full decade.

IMO it is due to chronic inflammation, caused by poor diet, obesity, and diabetes/prediabetes.

All of the above are pretty well proven.

But, COVID might also be a factor. How would you know unless you look?

Couldn't possibly be due to people being overweight and eating highly processed foods not exercising and just basically having a sedentary lifestyle now could it? Now do Diabetes or cancer and see if those too are on the rise.

No kidding. Over FORTY PERCENT of American adults are obese, eat like crap, and are sedentary.

Investigation over. Don't need to be Poirot to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Then, we should see this going down in the US starting in 2026 thanks to GLP-1 antagonists, right?

You are bad at reading graphs.

The interval of the X-axis here is years, not weeks, not months. Mid 2021 is still part of 2021.

Smoking, alcohol use, and obesity are all declining, in part thanks to GLP-1s. So, do you anticipate this trend to reverse?
