Gunfire rang out at a bar in Austin, Texas early Sunday and at least three people were killed, the city's police chief said. Lisa Davis told reporters the shooter was killed by officers at the scene.

Fourteen others were hospitalized and three were in critical condition, Austin-Travis County EMS Chief Robert Luckritz said.

He said paramedics got the call at 1:59 a.m. and first responders were on-scene in less than a minute.

3 Dead, 14 Wounded…that's either the second or third largest shooting since the tower.

West 6th which is the nicer end of the street and usually a little older of a crowd vs the 18-22 years old 6th

There is also a fairly large FBI regional office in Austin as they work closely with the Texas Rangers and DPS at their main offices in Austin as well as the U.S. Marshals Service office. I'm suspecting they were all mobilized to some extent.

just saw a video sent to me of the shooter still laying uncovered in in the street this morning! Looks to bear wearing dark pants and dark long sleeves so can't make much from it. video taken from a high rise so hard to see much detail but def a dead body laying at corner of 6th and west at the corner of green light social
