As long as we don't go boots on the ground (in a major way, I'm sure we got some guys in there already), I'm fine. **** Iran, **** Russia, **** China, **** Venezuela, and **** all our enemies. I don't mind spending $$$ on putting them in their place. Much better than most of the crap we waste it on.

Definitely not a model for long term economic success, but they accoplished a lot in that time period. So much so, that we offered amnesty for their top engineers, scientists, innovators, etc... to come to America. Point is, there is good with the bad. Where would America be today without Werner Von Braun. He was a home grown German talent that had enough intellectual equity that we couldn't afford to not bring him into the fold. Even overlooking the mass destruction he was directly responsible for.

I don't know about Fuentes, but Tucker is about the only sane voice in media. Sorry it causes so much butt hurt here.

Tucker is complete and utter sell out. an absolute clown show.

OP I'm not sure what generation you were born in, but there is a giant population of people under 50 who agree with you. TexAgs is probably not where you're going to find a whole terrible lot of that mindset. Most here are either Big Government Republicans, or just rooting for Trump like he's the second coming.

The pending economic catastrophe will further accelerate the movement toward America First so keep your chin up things are changing.

I rarely posted on politics, if ever, before all this Iran ***** But it really does seem like an echo chamber in here. I appreciate your comment, and it makes me optimistic that we'll actually get a real America first movement in the future.

And Tucker's virulent antisemitism infects other clowns.

If your America First movement allows Iran nukes and the missiles to deliver bombs worldwide, same as the Obama and Libertarian doctrine, you are a danger to America.

It'll be really funny when, in 10+ years time, the justification for US involvement turns out to be a big lie and that this administration executed this war on the behalf of special domestic/foreign interests. At least people like Walsh are being ideologically consistent in their position (i.e. Constitutional Conservatism/Originalist intent + Founding Father's position on foreign entanglements). Given the recent history of US Foreign Affairs, cynicism IMO is a prudent approach.

If this military campaign goes longer than a couple months, it will destroy Trumps legacy and midterms. Trump needs to find an off ramp in next few weeks, chalk it up as a win, and blame any fallout in Ben Net. That's the most likely outcome.

F16 has a very short memory.

Now do the videos of him talking about Iran over the last decade. Sometimes peace takes strength.

Yeah. Let's hope this time is different. If any POTUS has broken the mold, its Trump.

But still, there is a military industrial complex in DC and Israel's influence is very strong. So the probability is against Trump being able to end US involvement/funding quick. Thats were the skepticism comes from. Its a healthy concern and doesn't make you Jane Fonda.

Putting aside your personal beliefs, this level of isolationism isn't a winner. Voters don't want troops on the ground with no end in sight, massive expenditures and significant losses. Assuming Trump doesn't plan any level of occupation (as he has stated but we shall see) then this is exactly how we should be exercising our foreign influence. Impair threats but don't occupy. If the next guy wants to FA then he will also FO. The lesson that should have been learned from the Bush era is there's no point in trying to install a regime through military force. It will never hold up. The calculus is simply how bad is the current regime and how likely is the next one to be worse? In this case, let's say the current (past?) regime was a 93 out of 100 on the bad guy scale. How likely are you to wind up with a 94+ with the next hombres?
