The "look cute while doing it" part is pretty revealing. This is a social event for them. The other motivating force driving them out to these protests is that they don't have much else important going on in their lives so this fills that need. Pathetic is an accurate descriptor.

Not catholic and that sounds pretty legslistic. We are out in the community trying to reach people who dont know Jesus. I think he is okay with that.

Edit: we had over 700 people at our community event! Way more than most protests.

There's about 40 protesters, or so, lined up in front of the HEB in Hondo, TX. They look to be mostly old white people, outside of a handful of younger looking Mexicans waving the Mexican flag and a big Che Guevara flag.
